Inspection & testing
We offer Inspection & Testing services for new and existing installations to make sure they are safe to use.
We also conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) as a stand alone service or with an existing installation inspection (EICR).

New
installations
Initial verification is carried out on a new installation before it is put into service.
This also applies to any new circuits added to an existing installation.
Inspection of the installation is done to make sure it meets the latest standards along with testing of all the circuits.
After an initial verification has taken place an electrical installation certificate (EIC) is issued to all the relevant parties.

Existing
installations
All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use.
Properties should be inspected and tested at regular intervals to check whether they are in a satisfactory condition for continued use.
These safety checks are commonly referred to as ‘periodic inspection and testing’ and an electrical installation condition report (EICR) is issued.

pat
Testing
The most effective way to maintain electrical portable equipment, machinery and appliances is through Portable Appliance Testing.
Regular PAT testing helps organisations comply with their health and safety duties, ensuring the safety of employees, customers and visitors and in most cases to qualify for insurance coverage.
